Moving Out?
Remember that we do not pro-rate the last month's rent; if you occupy a unit for a single day of a month you are required to pay for the whole month. When Vacating a Unit - Remove all items including trash - Sweep the unit out - Secure the empty unit with the lock you were provided - Place the key in the "Key Drop Box" located next to unit #49 (the building closet to the post office) -Notify us that you have vacated the unit Failure to notify us will result in you being charged for an additional month. We have no way to know that your unit is empty if you don't tell us that you have moved out. If we don't know the unit is empty you still maintain possession even if it is empty. This is the most important step when vacating a unit. If you follow the procedures outlined above we will mail a check for the full amount of your deposit to your last address that we have on file. |
